Description:
Gabriel is 66, 225 lbs., but he looks wiry for his weight
and strength. His pale features bely the trials he's been
through. Gabriels features are on the handsome side of
average, but a pale scar encircles his forehead just under the
hairline. He refuses to discuss it with anyone.
History:
Born in downtown Seattle, Gabriel is a natural elf (he never
"goblinized"). Gabriel's parents were killed during his
senior year of high school. Because he was attending a boarding
school, Gabriel did not discover news of his parents' death until
after he graduated, at which time he was recruited by Lone Star.
Gabriel was an exceptional officer, but he was subjected to
constant racism from other members of the Star. Upon graduating
from his training, Gabriel spent two years in the partnership of
one Phillip (Pip) Torres. The two became fast friends, and
Phillip's family adopted Gabriel in every way but legally.
This nigh-idyllic situation came to an abrupt end during a race riot in 2045. Gabriel and Phillip were sent to quell the disturbance, but Phillip was fatally wounded and Gabriel was almost scalped by some Friends of Humanity. He refused to have the scar removed and now wears it as a badge of honor. Upon returning to the Star, Gabriel launched his own investigation into the causes of a spontaneous race riot and the reason news of said riot and death of an officer never even made the TriD.
Gabriel began to discover evidence of a conspiracy Phillip was investigating Aztechnology and several high-ranked Lone Star officials. All Gabriel gained from his research was the name of a single Johnson. Rather than pit himself against the full resources of Lone Star, Gabriel simply left. Traumatized by Phillip's death, Gabriel didn't even say goodbye to the Torres family.
Gabriel enlisted in the Tir Tairngire Elven army one year later, where he specialized in the Covert Operations division. His training from Lone Star made him key for the role of corporate assassin, performing the Tir's "dirty work." Trained in many forms of combat, stealth, and computer hacking, the Tir forged Gabriel into a killing machine. Unfortunately, Gabriel's status as an orphan subjected him to the constant ridicule of his fellow operatives. In addition, the merciless tactics of the Tir disgusted him, and his current sense of honor derives from this.
After 5 years of abuse, Gabriel fled the Tir for his old home of Seattle and became a Shadowrunner, hoping to apply his skills. Horrified by the tactics of his peers, Gabriel swore to be honorable in his profession. As a cover for his real profession, Gabriel markets himself as a "security specialist," offering to break into buildings to test security. On a recent job, Gabriel was hired to steal data from a certain Johnson at Aztecnology. Gabriel took the opportunity to blow up his office as revenge for Phillip's death. Unfortunately, in his zeal for action, Gabriel forgot to disable a hidden security camera and is now hunted by said executive.
